Does this calculate profit?
No. It isolates affiliate commission and revenue remaining after that one cost. Add platform fees, Ads, COGS, refunds, logistics and taxes before calling the result profit.
Should commission use GMV or valid revenue?
Use the economic base actually used by the affiliate program or marketplace settlement. If the platform calculates commission on another base, enter that base instead of assuming gross GMV.
