D2 Commerce Work

Commerce proof should explain the operating decision, not just show the outcome.

These cases document how D2 works across marketplace operations, profitability, creator commerce and cross-border execution. Each case attaches the operating problem, evidence basis, decision logic and claim boundary so performance is not separated from context.

Start from your operating problem

Choose the evidence path closest to the decision you need to make.

01

Marketplace operations

Evaluate how D2 handles daily shop ownership, campaigns, exceptions and commercial operating rhythm.

02

Profitability & reconciliation

See how D2 separates GMV, Ads, fees, COGS, settlement and contribution before recommending scale.

03

Creator & creative growth

See how creator sourcing, briefing and creative testing connect back to commerce decisions rather than delivery count alone.

04

Cross-border execution

Review evidence of operating coordination where marketplace, distribution and creator work span more than one market.

First-party commerce evidence

Four cases. Four different evidence boundaries.

A profitability analysis, creator-learning system and cross-border operating case are not the same proof type. The cards below keep those distinctions visible before you open the detailed case.

TikTok Shop · Profitability

Mì Cay Dozin

Operating problem

Topline marketplace revenue did not explain whether the shop was operating above or below contribution break-even.

Evidence basis

Orders, Ads campaign data, Income / Settlement, COGS master and SKU mapping.

Decision logic

Use contribution, break-even Ads thresholds and SKU economics to determine scale, hold or corrective action.

Claim boundary

Only figures with a verified reporting period and reconciliation basis are published; unreconciled Shopee figures are not combined into the claim.

TikTok Shop U.S. · Cross-Border

Dozin U.S. Cross-Border

Operating problem

Cross-border execution required product positioning, creator outreach and marketplace coordination to stay aligned across the U.S. distribution context.

Evidence basis

Documented U.S. TikTok Shop product availability and transactions, creator-outreach records, product briefing material and VeeFood.us / Dozin U.S. operating context.

Decision logic

Use the case to evaluate D2's hands-on cross-border operating capability and creator/shop coordination discipline.

Claim boundary

This case does not claim a specific GMV lift, conversion, ROAS or profit outcome, and does not claim D2 built the U.S. shop from zero.

Creator Commerce · Creative Performance

E.O Wins Coffee

Operating problem

High content demand could turn creator production into volume without a learning loop connected to commerce performance.

Evidence basis

Creative production log, creator/KOC pipeline status, shop performance, Ads / GMV Max signals and conversion data when available.

Decision logic

Use repeatable creative and creator learning to decide what to rebrief, iterate, retain or scale.

Claim boundary

The case focuses on operating method and testing logic; no absolute lift or ROAS claim is published without a confirmed comparison period and measurement basis.

Multi-SKU Commerce · Reporting

Wins Food

Operating problem

Different SKU cost structures made topline growth insufficient for understanding commercial performance.

Evidence basis

Orders, Settlement / Income, Ads spend, product cost master and packaging cost.

Decision logic

Use SKU-level cost visibility and contribution changes to decide where budget, assortment and operating attention should move.

Claim boundary

Detailed performance figures are published only when the period, cost basis and reconciliation scope are confirmed for publication.

Evidence standard

Source, basis, reconciliation, boundary.

D2 Commerce cases are written to preserve the difference between available data and the conclusion that data can legitimately support.

Source first

Published claims must trace back to named operating sources, documented workflow evidence or explicit case records.

Period and basis

Commercial figures need a declared reporting period and a consistent basis before they are compared or summarized.

Reconcile before conclusion

Orders, Ads, fees, settlement and costs are not treated as interchangeable numbers; unresolved differences stay visible.

Boundary attached

Every case states what the available evidence can support and what D2 is not claiming from it.

Operating knowledge behind the cases

Read the commercial logic separately from the client context.

Commerce case study FAQ

What these cases do — and do not — prove.

What does the D2 Commerce work library show?

It shows first-party evidence of D2 operating marketplace, profitability, creator, creative and cross-border commerce work. Each case includes an evidence basis and an explicit claim boundary.

Are all Commerce cases growth-success stories?

No. Some cases are valuable because they explain why topline growth was not profitable, where reconciliation failed or which operating constraint limited scale. D2 does not hide negative or incomplete commercial signals when they are material to the decision.

Why does D2 separate GMV, contribution and payout?

They answer different questions. GMV describes marketplace sales activity, contribution reflects commercial economics after agreed variable costs, and payout or settlement reflects cash movement and platform timing.

Does a case study guarantee the same result for another brand?

No. Case studies demonstrate operating method and evidence from a specific context. Product economics, traffic, creative, inventory, platform conditions and execution constraints differ by brand.

How should a buyer use these case studies to evaluate D2?

Match your current operating problem to the closest case, inspect the evidence type and claim boundary, then evaluate whether D2's operating logic and ownership model fit your situation.

Does D2 publish confidential client information?

Only information approved for public use should appear. When evidence is sensitive or incomplete, the case is summarized at the operating-method level rather than exposing confidential data or inventing performance claims.

Where can I see D2's Commerce services?

The Commerce Operations hub at /services/commerce covers TikTok Shop, Shopee, GMV Max, Affiliate/KOC, Creative Performance and Automation & Reporting scopes.

Where can I see D2's Automation case studies?

Automation evidence is grouped separately under /work/automation so architecture, prototypes, workflow evidence and production boundaries are not mixed with commerce operating outcomes.

From proof to scope

Match your operating problem to the nearest case, then scope the service around your own data.

Case evidence shows how D2 reasons and operates in a specific context. Your proposal should still start from your current shop, economics, data quality, team ownership and commercial constraints.
