Affiliate / KOC

Turn creator commerce into a pipeline that can be measured, learned from and reactivated.

D2 connects sourcing, outreach, samples, briefs, commission, content, sales signals and creator scorecards into one cadence instead of managing creators as disconnected bookings.

Direct answer

What are Affiliate / KOC Operations?

It is the operating system from finding the right creator to deciding who deserves another investment cycle. Each creator needs a status, cost, output, rights and next decision; follower count is only one signal.

Operating problem

What this service is designed to fix

D2 starts from the operating failure mode before choosing tactics, tools or output volume.

  • Outreach and samples are fragmented across chats and spreadsheets.
  • Creator volume grows without knowing which creator, hook or format deserves reactivation.
  • Commission is set without SKU margin guardrails.
  • Organic, Spark Ads and GMV Max usage rights are not separated clearly.

Scope

Core execution scope

Final scope depends on the brand, platform access, data coverage and ownership agreed during onboarding.

  • Creator sourcing and qualification by product/content fit
  • Outreach, sample tracking and follow-up
  • Briefing by hook, angle, offer and creator profile
  • Commission/commercial coordination and authorization
  • Content tracking, creator scorecards and reactivation
  • TikTok One coordination when the account/project is suitable

Operating loop

How D2 turns the scope into a repeatable cadence

The workflow needs explicit inputs, owners, review points and a rule for what changes next.

  • Define SKU economics, creator objective and qualification rules.
  • Operate source → contact → sample → content → result → reactivate stages.
  • Review outputs, conversion signals and cost rather than follower count alone.
  • Feed winning creator and creative patterns into the next sourcing and briefing cycle.

Evidence

Data and proof used to support decisions

D2 separates source evidence from assumptions and keeps missing or unresolved inputs visible as exceptions.

  • Creator roster and pipeline status
  • Sample, booking and commission records
  • Content links, authorization and usage-right status
  • Affiliate/commerce outcomes when platform data is available
  • Creative tags by hook, angle, format and offer

Measurement

Metrics are read in business context

No single metric proves success. D2 connects operating signals to revenue, cost, contribution and the next decision.

  • Creator activation rate
  • Content output and usable-asset rate
  • Affiliate GMV / conversion when available
  • Commission ratio and creator acquisition cost
  • Repeat/reactivated creator rate
  • Pipeline latency and unresolved status

Boundaries

What needs to be explicit before execution starts

Clear boundaries protect measurement quality and prevent one service from being treated as every e-commerce task.

  • Samples, shipping, booking fees, usage rights and commission are not automatically D2 service fees.
  • D2 does not guarantee that every creator accepts or produces sales.
  • Advertising authorization must be confirmed before creator content enters paid media.

Engagement

Scope follows creator workload and ownership, not a fixed public price table.

D2 defines shops/SKUs, sourcing volume, sample flow, paid bookings, TikTok One, reporting and responsibilities before issuing a proposal.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is included in D2's Affiliate / KOC service?+

D2 can operate the creator pipeline from sourcing, qualification, outreach, samples, briefs, commission setup and content tracking to creator scorecards and reactivation. Scope can include TikTok Shop Affiliate, KOC seeding, paid creators and TikTok One.

How is TikTok Shop Affiliate different from TikTok One?+

Affiliate is primarily a creator-commerce and commission system; TikTok One is a broader collaboration and creative layer. D2 separates the objective, rights and economics before choosing the model.

Can D2 source KOCs and manage samples?+

Yes when included in scope. D2 can manage shortlist, outreach, commercial conditions, samples and creator status. Shipping, booking fees and usage rights remain explicit third-party costs unless the proposal says otherwise.

What Affiliate commission should a brand set?+

There is no universal rate. Commission needs to fit unit economics after COGS, platform fees, vouchers, Ads and other variable costs while remaining attractive enough for creators.

Does follower count determine creator quality?+

No. D2 prioritizes product fit, content fit, reliability, output quality, conversion signals and economics such as sample, commission and booking cost when evidence is available.

Can creator content be reused for Ads or GMV Max?+

Only when the relevant authorization and usage rights allow it. D2 distinguishes organic posting, Spark Ads, Shop Ads/GMV Max and broader usage rights.

Does D2 guarantee fixed Affiliate GMV?+

D2 can commit to an execution scope but cannot guarantee that every creator accepts, posts or produces sales. Outcomes depend on product, offer, creator, inventory, commission and market conditions.

How is Affiliate / KOC pricing determined?+

D2 does not publish a fixed price table on the website. The proposal is scoped around shops, SKUs, creator-pipeline workload, samples, paid bookings, TikTok One, Creative, reporting and ownership.
